Peka
-Peka or the bell, is a must-try for any visitors. Peka is a metal bell under which a variety of meats and vegetables are cooked. The bell is thrust into burning amber and left to cook for a considerable length of time. Most popular peka is the lamb or octopus one.
Brodet
-Fish stew made with local,fresh fish, tomato sauce, and a lot of garlic and parsley. It is mostly served with polenta. Hard to find in mainstream restaurants.
Scampi buzara
-There are two main types of Scampi Buzara: white and red. White buzara is made with white wine, butter, garlic, and parsley. The red one contains some extra tomato paste. Traditionally, it is served with fresh pasta or polenta, but a popular choice is to dip freshly baked bread into it. Yum!
